CHURCH FINANCE
In answers to questions asked by some parishioners, these are some ways to continue with our weekly offerings to our Churches.
By Standing Order: Details can be given by phoning either parish house or by emailing either of our two priests.
A few others are using their Offertory Envelopes and are either put them through the respective Parish House doors, or posting them. Again a few have sent in what would be a month’s collection, and will do so again in a month should our situation be the same.
Some people might like to put aside what they would normally contribute, save it up week-by-week and then hand it in whenever it would be safe to do so. The new Offertory Envelopes were ready for sending out when this crisis began – and now they cannot be. But using an ordinary envelope would do just as well and you can put your name and number on it for reference.
Please make any non cash payments to Catholic Church: at either Amlwch, Beaumaris or Holyhead : Thank you

Check that all exterior doors are locked, all windows are secured, check for any signs of possible attempted entry into the building.
If possible look up at the roof-any tiles missing, drainpipes, guttering, check around the back of the building-be aware of dark places i.e St Anne’s Menai Bridge, under stair well as Star of the Sea Amlwch
Health and Safety
Personal safety:
Security: At Home
Vulnerable people: Contact your energy supplier if you wish to be put onto their vulnerable person’s list
There has been a dramatic increase in break ins and attempted break ins of garden sheds and garages--make sure you do not leave tools etc outside in your gardens.
Be aware of any cold callers-do not let them in. Contact the police if you are suspicious.
If possible be in contact with others on a daily basis-by telephone, email , Facebook, skype etc Mail: Wash your hands after touching and removing the outer covering of a mailed item that you have received.
Be aware of phone calls wanting information of your banking details-check the person calling. Be aware of scam emails-if you do not recognize the sender, then do not open the email : A scam email usually has a fairly bizarre email address behind what looks like a genuine sender name. To find out if there’s a fraudster behind what looks like a genuine sender, use your mouse to hover the cursor over or right-click on the sender name and you should see the email address behind it. 2 Is the greeting impersonal?
On your daily walk: Be aware that there is a rise in drug trafficking on the island with carriers meeting on Coastal Paths and Walkways –keep safe. Fly tipping: With the waste recycling centres closed there is an increase of fly tippng (dumping waste) on roads and in the countryside lanes on the Island-please take care.
